Mission Statement

The Pennsylvania Competitiveness Caucus is a bi-partisan, bi-cameral caucus of Pennsylvania’s General Assembly dedicated to strengthening the Commonwealth’s long-term economic competitiveness. The caucus was formed to create a unified platform for members of the General Assembly to collaborate on policies which foster a robust, dynamic economy. The caucus will focus on key public policy impacting the Commonwealth’s ability to attract and retain business investment in Pennsylvania, such as tax reform, workforce development and retention, regulatory efficiency, and the many related issues contributing to overall business environment. Caucus members will work collaboratively to achieve legislative progress and success on policies which promote job creation and sustainable growth, while enhancing Pennsylvania’s competitive edge in national and global markets.  The Pennsylvania Competitiveness Caucus recognizes that we need to be more economically competitive and will bring together legislators from all four caucuses to work collectively on the shared mission of positioning Pennsylvania as a leader in economic performance, ensuring prosperity, and opportunity for all its residents.
